Conference Champs. (again)
We just got back from Dallas, Texas last night pretty late. We had two games there and won both which means we are regional conference champs. This is the second conference tournament we have won. Good thing for our team. Our record is now 20-1-1. Our next game is next Saturday and that is first round of nationals, we are hosting. It is now if you lose you are done. So hopefully we win and take nationals too!!
We went to a couple of the teammates houses to eat dinner. This was very nice connsidering it was home cooked meals. But, this made me really miss home. According to the count down on my wall i have 32 more days until im back home. The team toured the pizza hut arrina in frisco.
Having Fun!!
These last couple of days have gone pretty good. We won conference so, then we hosted the conference tournament. In the Conference tournament we played two teams won both games which made us Conference CHAMPS!! We are now 17-1-1!!! One of my teammates turned 21 so we went to Olive Garden. Which seemed like a perfect time to pull out the heels. 
Last night our team had a toga party! Phoenix, Gemma, and I went and bought colorful fabrics and made our toga. they all turned out really good and original. the party was quiet interesting. ha i got back in the dorms at around 3 am.
Todays adventures: Phe and I woke up super late. Us and Gemma went to the cafe. The food is even worse on the weekends, and worse is being nice about it. I wanted to go tanning but we get there and it’s closed on Sunday’s…convient. (NOT). So then Gemma wanted this nasty chocolate orange that she eats like everyday sooo we stopped at walmart. Once we get back in the car we decide to go rent the movie Love and Basketball…which Gemma has been wanting us to see. So we go to the movie gallery and he says yes we have it sooo he goes to look and no where to be found. So the guy gives us directions to the next closest place to go. He says take a left at the light and its like a mile down. so i make sure which light sooo he points and says the one right there. Of coarse my dumb self thinks right at the light and we drive the wrong way for a good 3 miles until phe and Gemma convince me its the opposite way! wow im dumb….haha. sooo we go to the next place and the people in front of us ask for the same movie. (really what are the odds of that.) That place is sold out….Our Luck. Then we go to about three or four other places and no luck. Guess were not watching the movie. :/ So we just came back and cleaned the room. Phe and I got our things ready for tomorrow because our new set of classes start. Last tri I got two As and one B!! woo hoo 3.6 gpa! The team leaves on Tuesday early to Dallas and we will be there until Friday. We have two games…i will keep you updated. Conference Champs!!
Last night we played at the University of Alabama. Both teams were playing for conference champs. So it was a very intense game. We won 2-1…Which makes our record now 15-1-1!! We are ranked #4 currently and the new rankings come out on Tuesday. Since we won conference we will be hosting conference tournament here next week. which is good for us. (no traveling…) After the tournament which hopefully we win. We go to Dallas Texas for the Regional tournament. && after that is Nationals!!

Halloween
So for Halloween we couldn’t really do much since we had a game late that night. So the night before Phoenix, Gemma, and I decided to make rice krispy treats and paint our nails. It was really sticky. ha but i was happy because all the stuff together didnt cost all that much. We made them into characters. ha I painted everyone’s nails, they turned out pretty good because we had these stickers for Halloween. I really missed decorating with my mom and carving a pumpkin but oh well i will have more Halloweens.
PS. if you didnt already know im going to be an aunt to a Nephew now woo hoo!
Rankings.
We had a game yesterday against Belhaven and we won 4-0 which puts us in a good position for conference. We play again on Saturday and if we win then we win conference. Currently we are ranked #4 in the nation.

This week.
So we are currently doing really well in soccer with a record of 13-1-1. We have a soccer game tomorrow at home that is senior night. Im really looking forward to the game since it’s a conference game. I can’t believe it’s already going to be Halloween on Saturday. We have a soccer game on Halloween though. I think that our coach did that on purpose ha. I had a lot of homework this week because next week is finals. After that we start our 2nd Tri. Well thats all for now its time to watch One Tree Hill.

New Orleans.
Phoenix and I went to New Orleans last weekend to see Grandma, Grandpa, Dee, Lenard, Helene, and Kalene. Phe and I had to find parking and if you havent been there before just like any other city it is quite hard to find a spot. (we finally found one in between to huge trucks….sooo we squeezed into it)It was really nice seeing some of the family. We got there and walked around the city for awhile and then took a carriage ride. The ride was extremely interesting I actually learned a lot! There are many many bars in New Orleans. It was actually really cold the whole time we were there but thank goodness Dee and Lenard let me use the extra jacket. We tried banigetts, these kind of like donut things haha. (I think i spelled that wrong. ha) We ate alot of good food, things I have not tried before. My Grandma bought me some earing, their fleur de lis. My aunt Dee bought me some cute braclets. We went out on Saturday night to the preservation hall, and we watched jazz. I actually really enjoyed it….jazz is much better watching live. After that we went out to get a little sandwich and drank some hot coco. unfortunately I think the hot coco was bad and I ended up throwing up that night. :/ On Sunday for lunch we went to the garden district where there are some beautiful homes. We went into the middle of the neighbor and it looked like stopped at a random house to eat but nope it was a restaurant, called the parasol. We had suck a blast! Phe and I want to say thanks to everyone for helping with food, gas, and the gifts, it was wonderful seeing you and can’t wait to see you when I come home during christmas.

Today.
It was a pretty good day overall. It has been raining on and off and now its pouring outside…like no joke I hear the rain on my window and the thunder is extremely loud. We had practice this morning out on the fields and let me tell you the fields are horrible there all muddy!! I had English 101 today, and the air conditioning wasnt working so everyone was sweating. After lunch I went to the mail room and my dad sent me a package!!! THANK YOU SOO MUCH once again….it had a bunch of movies, two books, sudoku, and snacks!!! I went to the student center and played Scrabble and apples to apples….bunch of fun…who knew i was soooo bad at Scrabble! lol Well im super excited for this weekend in New Orleans, cant wait to see everyone!

I have been thinking about home alot lately, so I decided to make a count down calender!! I can’t wait to see my some of the family this weekend in New Orleans. That should be really fun! Tonight is a bonfire and the whole team has to go. I went to mellow mushroom for dinner with the defense. It was weird because I ordered tortialla soup and I swear to you it was like chilli soup and my white self was about to cry it was sooo hot. ha

Soccer.
We are currently 9-1-1 which is pretty good. We play in Georgia on Saturday and leave tomorrow at noon. Things are going pretty good though. I have been extremely tired and some what sore from being on the road and in hotels every weekend.

It was Julie’s birthday on October 6th. Hope she had an amazing birthday im sad I couldn’t be around her but Happy Birthday once again. Next up its Big man Samuel….his Birthday is on October 13th & he is turning 9!!Wow he really is growing up fast! So I’m pretty sure that I am going to be a Math Major…ummm I sure am going to have to work hard…I just signed up for my next trimester of classes and I am taking English 102, Old Testament, & Educational Psychology. I miss home a bunch and cant wait until break!!!
